- Listed Companies: Any public limited company actively listed and traded on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). This represents the core voting membership of the association.
- Unlisted Companies & Emerging SMEs: Non-listed corporate entities, public unlisted companies, or high-growth startups intending to leverage capital markets for future fund-raising and listing.
- Share Registrars & Market Intermediaries: Duly registered institutions providing registrar, transfer agent, and capital market support services.
2. Individual Professional Membership
Tailored for the strategic leaders, practitioners, and advisors who manage corporate governance and financial compliance.
- C-Suite Corporate Executives: Current or former Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), and Company Secretaries (CS) of corporate entities.
- Partners of Chartered Accountant Firms: Practicing partners of registered accounting and audit firms who guide corporate financial standards.
- Corporate Lawyers & Legal Practitioners: Legal professionals specializing in corporate law, securities regulations, and SECP compliance framework.
- Industrialists: Prominent entrepreneurs and owners of manufacturing or commercial enterprises driving national economic growth.
- Licensed Brokers: SECP-licensed securities brokers and capital market intermediaries who actively manage investment portfolios and trade on the exchange.
3. Associate & Institutional Membership
For individuals and organizations that provide capital, coverage, and thought leadership to the corporate sector.
- High Net Worth Investors (HNWIs): Accredited individual investors who provide vital liquidity and capital to listed and pre-IPO companies.
- Financial Journalists: Specialized media professionals and editors reporting on capital markets, corporate governance, and economic policy to enhance market visibility.
4. Academic & Research Membership
To bridge the gap between academic discourse and practical corporate execution.
- Deans & Principals of Commerce Colleges/Universities: Leading educators from HEC-recognized institutions specializing in business, finance, accounting, and economics. This supports LCAP’s objective to serve as a hub for research and professional development.
Baseline Statutory Prerequisites
Regardless of the category, all individual applicants or designated corporate nominees must meet the following statutory guidelines defined in our Articles of Association:
- Endorsement: The application must be formally seconded by an existing member of LCAP.
- Legal Compliance: The applicant must submit a sworn stamp paper undertaking affirming zero association with money laundering, terrorist financing, or any illegal banking/deposit-taking businesses
